And I was wondering what the best method for restoring them to like new would be.

That honestly doesn’t look too bad.
Try Leatherique. It’s incredibly tedious and a little expensive, but the results are insane.

our eddie bauer looked like that when we bought it used with 2000 miles....they didn’t deteriorate any further though unlike my dads Miata....

If you want to go a little lower budget, do one heavy cleaning and then Saddle Soap every six months. The guys in the back swear by it.

I grifted a bottle of some Coach (the purse people) leather cleaner from my mom. Works pretty great.
